Editor’s note: Hey there! It’s been a while, I...
I loved this interactive workshop, I received tons of great feedback and my writing is better for this experience.

Cayce was a great leader and even though people had personal obligations/had to drop out for personal reasons, she was able to move things around in a timely manner so that there weren’t any hiccups in the process. Would I do it again? Sure! She made it enjoyable, and I felt like my work was in good hands at the end.

A month long writing workshop. What is not to love. I’ve participated in workshops while in college and none have been like this. With Caycee’s direction based schedule, each participant had an idea of where to focus on and since the workshop was a month long, there was plenty of time for many critiques to help improve your writing. I’m looking forward to the next one!

I found the workshop quite stimulating, I think it is because of my competitive nature that makes me write more when I’m among other talented individuals. Point being I owe a lot of story and lore development to Cayce and would recommend her services.

I attended a workshop that Cayce ran through a Facebook writing group, and the entire experience was amazing!
Full disclosure: I was a touch skeptical at first about whether the concept of the workshop would work at all. I mean, the workshop consisted of about 16 writers working together online over about a month critiquing one another’s work and then posting revisions based on those critiques. The other writers and I never met face to face, so I didn’t know whether virtual strangers (pun sort of intended!) would be able to help me make my piece the best it could possibly be.
Cayce’s attention to detail and her simple yet effective organization of the group guaranteed that everyone got the most out of the critiques as well as the writing process itself. We finished our pieces on time and were respectful and open to one another’s suggestions, advice and ideas. I didn’t agree with everyone all the time, but I didn’t mind considering their thoughts because the design of the workshop made it easy to do so. Cayce is the main driver behind that.
I’m an editor myself, so I know exactly how challenging this must have been for Cayce. I can say without a doubt that when I have a piece that needs hefty editing, Cayce will be at the top of my list of editors to consider. I strongly recommend anyone else looking for an editor to put Cayce in the same spot!

I really don’t know where to begin. This was actually my very first manuscript. I had absolutely no idea what I was doing when I started writing my memoir and I was looking for an editor to guide me from the beginning to the end, and Cayce did just that! She guided me step by step. She told me what my readers would be looking for. Because I was a victim of a crime, she told me when I needed to add more feelings and ask more questions of “why.” She also wasn’t afraid to tell me when something just wasn’t right or needed to be omitted, or changed. I kept an open mind and was willing to listen. I learned so much from her. If you’re looking for someone who will take time out and really give your manuscript the full undivided attention it deserves, I recommend Cayce Berryman Services. I was very pleased with the results and will use her again in the future.
