Cayce Berryman

Journalist, Creative Writer, Editor, and Creative Writing Coach

Cayce Berryman is an editor with a passion for words. She is an author and an editor in Corpus Christi, Texas.

She discovered that she loved editing while in college working for the newspaper. She had started a writing organization, which allowed her to know what she wanted to do. Authors’ Tale serves as a supportive platform for budding writers and published authors, as well as a “writer’s gym” where the creative mind can expand and continue to learn. She believes that every writer’s voice is important, and every voice is worth hearing.

What Has She Done?

Cayce has an associate degree in journalism and a bachelor’s degree in creative writing and English. She earned an editing certificate from the University of Chicago’s Graham School. Cayce was a copy editor, photojournalist, and managing editor for the Del Mar College Foghorn, and from there, she moved on to work as a designer and copy editor for the USA TODAY NETWORK for three years.

Outside of Work

When Cayce is not working, she likes to read, hang around her goats, and do some writing. Projects around the house consume her free time if she’s not around family, but she does what she can to make every moment count.
